Description: A triad that symbolizes an obstacle free life filled with prosperity, happiness, wisdom and creativity, this set of three deities ins often seen together. Ganesh, the remover of obstacles, holds the weapons pasa and ankusha. The lower hands are in abhaya mudra and holding a bowl of his favourite sweet the modak, offered to him by devotees. His vahana, the mushika (mouse) is crouched at his feet. Ganesha is seated on an ornate seat, under a richly draped mandapam.
Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu, is worshipped as the goddess of wealth and fortune. The beautiful Lakshmi is depicted seated on an ornate seat, under a richly draped mandapam. She wears a lotus garland and holding lotuses in her upper two hands, while her lower hands are in abhaya (protection) and varada (blessing) mudras.
Saraswati is revered as the goddess of knowledge and wisdom, speech, music and art. She is depicted seated on an ornate seat, under a richly draped mandapam.
