  • Description: Kamdhenu, the divine cow, also known as Surabhi, is the primary subject of this composition filled with a multitude of details. This divine cow is considered a form of the mother goddess, and is shown here as containing all the gods in the Hindu pantheon. Surabhi, the giver of plenty, is shown being worshipped by sage Kashyapa, one of the most revered Hindu sages, while her calf, Manoratha, suckles.
